Pacitan, Another Paradise of Indonesia

Hello Hello,

With me again with the story of my hometown Pacitan, southern region located in East Java. This time I want to share to all of you about beautiful Pacitan, that still become mystery and not many people know about it's uniqueness. Well this time I brought my two friends from Poland and Holland to taste the beautiful of Pacitan region because many exotic tourism places to see, especially the beach, still a few people who knows it and the beach is a little bit virgin haha.

So the route is started form my home to Teleng Ria beach. Not so far, about 3 km from my home and my Dutch friend photographed one of the beauty of Pacitan. The green rice paddy looks like green carpet from the heaven with the sun above it makes the scenery even more beautiful. For your information, my Dutch and Polish friend went to Teleng Ria beach by walking from my home! For me walking this far is quite not usual especially if the condition very sunny and very hot. Indonesian person like me afraid of becoming black, and European people like them want to become darker ehehehe.

Then the story continued to the beautiful beach of Teleng Ria. The beach immediately faces Hindi Ocean, which makes the wave very big and even suitable for doing surfing if the wave really high.

Teleng Ria Beach

The next day our destination more amazing because we went to three exotic places in Pacitan. First destination is Srau Beach. It is located about 30 km from the center of Pacitan town. Srau beach is a must destination if you go to Pacitan because it's nature is really beautiful and even my European friend told me that "this is a paradise!". The reason is about the uniqueness itself. It has four sides for breathtaking view of the beach. The first side located in the eastern part of the beach. This part is for swimming part because the tide is not high. You can enjoy swimming in this side. The second side is in the south part of the beach. Here you can see it's big wave coming into you and the rock floor. The third is located in southeast part of the beach. This part is a hill. Here is my favourite place because you can see the very blue sea and unlimited view of Hindi Ocean. The water is also clear and sometimes we can see some fish having fun there, Amazingly beautiful! The fourth located in western part of the beach. With rock floor and also high tide of wave. the color of the water is blue green, make it even more beautiful.

Srau Beach Pacitan

The next destination for our trip is Gong Cave. Many people claimed this cave is the most beautiful in South East Asia, so this place is also must visit. The cave is located in the hill, so we must go up to the hill. Don't worry about being tired because in every side on the way to the hill there are many souvenirs and food sellers. The cave is very beautiful but it is hot inside, so I suggest for them to use light clothes. The stalactite and stalagmite look so amazing. There is one reason why the name of the cave is Gong Cave. Because some of the stone in this cave sounds "Gong Gong" when people strike it. This is the uniqueness of Gong Cave because the stone is sounded "Gong Gong' when someone strike it. Don't believe me? try it by yourself!

Gong Cave, Pacitan

Well the last destination is Klayar beach, the unique beach in Pacitan. This beach is different from another beach in Pacitan. It has beautiful rock hills and very big wave. The blue wave make it eve more beautiful. You laso can find many sea urchins and starfish. Being here means you can make your friend envy because the beautiful of the beach cannot be described by the word. Check it out!

First Time meeting with Canadian (so much fun!!!!!)

Well,

I decided to write this experience because it's really worthed for me to write it hahaha just to kill the boringness in this holiday. Oh by the way this story is about meeting with "bule" (it's kind of popular nickname for Indonesian people to call western especially white people and please note, this is not negative) from Canada. How could I meet with him? because I join AIESEC and what is AIESEC? I will tell you later ya. Ok so I really forgot the date but it was on May 2009. At that time there were about more than 20 new members of AIESEC and all of them informed that one of exchanger from Canada will arrive. Everybody was so annoying because they keep asking the question, "oh is he tall? is he handsome? is he blablabla" especially for the girls. So, I was curious as well then decided to pick him up in Juanda Airport Surabaya. The most funny thing at that time, just for picking up one exchanger we need two cars? hohohoo....what for? because many people were joining the trip to the airport because their curiousness of this Canadian guy and it was really crowded in the car. So many poeple but fun. We arrived in the airport and then someone told us, "ok, now split in international arrival and raise up your banner and look for this Canadian guy". In each banner there is his name. After very long time going around the airport, finally one of my friend "Pera" found him. "Oh I found him, I found him". Then we found "Curtis" and each of us introduced ourself to him. Taking picture is a must!!!couldn't be ignored because this is the obligation for Indonesian people when we meet foreigners especially "bule". Well so here it is the picture. You can see our happy face meeting with Curtis hahahaha. I am the one who was showing the little banner from a paper. I really cant wait to talk with "bule" because talking with foreigners is so much fun. At that time my style is still "ababil" (it is one of expression for a childish teenager that too much childish) So I asked a lot of questions to him. The next we went to Coffee Corner Cafe to celebrate his arrival in this Sparkling Surabaya city and of course we drank coffee. One of the funny thing again that I found, Ronny ordered a cup of coffeee for Rp 12.000> and guess what he got? a super tiny cup of coffeee and one super tiny biscuit. Spontaneusly I laughed and seemed it was not worthed spending that much money for a cup of super tiny coffee cup hahahahahahaa.
